I had planned on posting something over my vacation and spent that being excessively lazy, which turned out to be the right way to spend it, seeing how busy I am now with school. None of it's hard but it's like I finish one assignment and realize there's another that needs doing.

Anyway I obviously missed out on wishing everyone a happy New Year when it was more appropriate so I guess I'll just hope that everyone has enjoyed their first month of the year. Mine's been relatively uneventful outside of school but that's okay, I'm still settling back into the idea of being a student I guess.

I plan to upload a lot more this year, especially writing. The goal is at least one item a week, every Sunday. It might be small, it might be large, but I want to put something up here each week regardless. I might post more often if I can, but that's the goal. Which means I have some catching up to do since I appear to be behind by three weeks or so.

Also I seem to get very little feedback, like none. This is a little saddening. I would love to see some feedback, even if it's just to point out the flaws in my work. It's kind of hard to know if I'm doing things well if no one will tell me. So please if you can leave a comment.

Just finished my finals. The only reason I felt like mentioning that here is that for one of them, my Web Development class. I used some of the files here in it and don't want my professor to think I stole them. That would be terrible. Well with me being on break now, I guess I'll have nothing but time to get some stuff finished and uploaded here. Maybe. In case I'm not back before then have a happy holidays everyone.

When I first made this account I posted a couple pieces of writing and then said I would post drawings when I had access to a scanner. That didn't happen, and later on some other things happened that caused me to lose most of what I was going to post, making it a moot point. But now, nearly two years later, I can present some art to you, whoever you might be. And now I'm going to watch as they probably get more attention than the writing, much of which I put more effort into.

Speaking of my writing, I'd really love to get feedback on them. I know someone has read them, but noone has said a thing about them. I find this disheartening, that noone wants to tell me what they think. Let it be known that comments would be viewed as something cool, whether you like or dislike what I've done, as long as you say why.

On a mostly unrelated note, I finally have an avatar, for the first time, after having an account here on dev art for two years. Took me long enough.

I can't believe I haven't posted anything for a whole year. Well here's some stuff I wrote in the second semester of my senior year, which ended in June. So yeah I'm a graduate and no, I haven't accomplished anything since really.

     Hopefully with the new year I'll post more often. Maybe. I have a couple more finished pieces to post once I find them. so there's that to look forward to I suppose.

     Anyhow I hope everyone has a good new year, "Happy 2011!" May we all have a happy and productive year with more to come after.

I know I said I'd have more stuff up by now, and that the tomorrow or the next day never panned out but here I am, ready to try again. The plan to post old art is canceled though. I'm going to distance myself from what I never really liked and start making what I do, and that's what I'll post. Not that many seem to be paying attention.
